As 2013 Comes To A Close... Album of the Year
Well, with 8 hours left of 2013 (here in the PNW) it is time to name my Album of 2013. For me, the choice is very obvious: Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City. It's an amazing album, and I've listened to it a ton. Favorite song? Ya Hey. Why? It's catchy, fun, and has some deep meanings underneath the pop facade.Of course, staying loyal to Belle and Sebastian, I have to hand it to them for Third Eye Centre. Sure it was a bit unexpected, but it was good, which is what matters.
Now, we wait to see what 2014 will bring...
